PinForm Terms of Use

These terms apply to your use of the PinForm app ("the app"), published by MunkinFactory as part of the BowlBrain suite ("we", "us"). By using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Who can use PinForm

PinForm is for bowlers and coaches aged 13 and over. If you are under the age of majority where you live, use the app with the permission of a parent or guardian.

What the app is

PinForm gives automated feedback on bowling form from video, computed on your phone. It is a training aid. It is not a certified coach, and it is not medical, physical-therapy or safety advice. Measurements and scores depend on how a throw is filmed (angle, distance, light, framing) and can be wrong. Things that cannot be read from body video, such as rev rate and axis tilt, are shown as "not measured" rather than guessed.

Use your own judgment. Stop and get qualified advice if a movement causes pain.

Your videos and filming other people

You own the videos you record and the notes you add. The app stores them on your phone; we do not receive them.

You are responsible for having permission to film everyone who appears in your videos. If you film a minor, you must have the consent of the bowler and of their parent or guardian, and you must follow the rules of the bowling center, league or club where you film. Do not use the app to film people without their knowledge.

Acceptable use

Use PinForm for personal training and coaching. Do not attempt to reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the app except as the law allows, and do not use it in a way that breaks the law or the rights of others.

Privacy

How the app handles information is described in the PinForm Privacy Policy.

No warranty

The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We do not promise that the app will be error-free, that measurements will be accurate, or that using it will improve your scores.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the app. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer-protection law that cannot be waived.

Changes and ending use

We may update the app and these terms. When the terms change, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date. You can stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it, which removes its data from your phone.
